Ken and I wish you all a glorious holiday and thought we’d share what has become one of our favorite Christmas Eve traditions, a hot chocolate and morning stop at Chrison and Bellina of Oyster Bay.
Like Oleson’s Mercantile from the Little House on the Praire series, this one-of-a-kind local boutique is an absolute Long Island gem. Its distinctive character encompasses the spirit of America’s fiber offering a personal touch by owners who are established members of the local community.
I am always inspired when I walk in the door and browse their unique finds. From wine-glass chandeliers to clothing, housewares, gourmet foods, home decor, jewelry and the kids corner, Chrison and Bellina whose namesake represents a combination of the owners’ children’s names, is one of the most charming one-stop shopping experiences. There is truly something for everyone!
Perhaps most impressive are the items they hand pick and set aside for my family or the gift-wrapped packages they deliver to my door. There is something so special about this level of service, one that Kitchen Designs strives daily to achieve. Wherever this holiday finds you, be sure to appreciate your local shop owners! They are the fiber of your community. Below are more images of the lovely Chrison and Bellina, 24 Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bay (516) 802-3824.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All.
