If you look around, almost everything we see, hear, and touch is a result of the someone’s (or some heavenly being’s) creative vision. What moves you is as personal and unique as the millions of designs we encounter daily. A good designer intends to make your environment personal and comfortable for you. Our design process is intentional and customized to your specific needs, your desired aesthetic, and the architectural integrity of your home. Good design is EVERYTHING.
The modern kitchen in your city apartment might not be the aesthetic you desire for your Hampton’s summer home, which might be entirely different than the environment you are trying to create in your Montana Ski House. How we define that emotional connection to your space is what we do best; it is what a good designer instinctively knows how to execute. Kitchen Designs by Ken Kelly has built our 30-year industry reputation by doing things right and combining quality materials with good design.
Through a collaborative effort, we make good design decisions together. It is our job to dig deep and ask clients to look closely at themselves and their lifestyles in order to understand how they will live in their new kitchen or bath. Bear with us during these interrogations as we listen carefully to your answers. Our designers enjoy this creative interaction and are passionate about delivering the highest level of service and the best possible design for your space. The result is worth the probing when you live in a kitchen, bath, or family room that truly reflects your own character and personality. The well-designed space will tell your story.
When Ken and I bought our home, we knew we needed a landscape designer with expertise to execute the vision we had for the property. Although we had plenty of ideas for the garden plantings, colors, and patio materials, we clearly recognized the value of calling in an expert. The designer we hired added numerous possibilities to the plan and absolutely transformed the way we use our property by creating the exact environment we were seeking … formal elegance with casual comfort conducive to entertaining large crowds. The investment in our design was the best money we ever spent, and the resulting design brings us joy every day. We gave the designer our budget, he understood our wish list, and he gave us the maximum he could “fit in” within that budget. This is exactly why you hire a professional designer.
Recently one of our clients left us this review on Houzz. It sums up everything we believe in at Kitchen Designs by Ken Kelly.
“Ken and his superb team of professionals completely transformed our kitchen, dining and living room into a spectacular yet comfortable space. I wanted a “wow factor” when walking in, and he definitely exceeded my dreams. We tore down a wall separating the dining area from the kitchen while still keeping our exposed beams and pickled cedar ceiling, created a beautiful island (not to mention more counter space), put in a beautiful tile floor, and redid our floor to ceiling fire place to match our countertops and backsplash. Despite having Hurricane Sandy slow down the project, he still managed to be on time and even came by to check on us to see how we were fairing with my husband’s disability during the storm. Simply put, he managed to do what all other contactors have failed to do – made me one very happy homeowner and a lifelong customer. They say you get what you pay for – well, we got MORE!”
