New Dishwasher? Bosch Says Skip the Pre-Rinsing

Bosch New Dishwasher

Is it time for a new dishwasher?

We all need to spend less time on household chores in 2020 and spend more time doing things we love. We don’t need any extra steps when it comes to unloading our dishwashers. Our dishes should come out clean, dry, and ready to put away every time. Here are a few tips from Bosch Home Appliances, a brand known for dishwashers with maximum cleaning capabilities that are quiet and energy efficient.

Bosch New Dishwasher

Choose a New Dishwasher that Works for You

Some of you towel or air dry your dishes or even crack the dishwasher door at the end of the cycle. The new Bosch dishwashers offer a solution for these scenarios. When the wash cycle is done, you do nothing more. Their CrystalDry™ is a new drying technology, available on the Benchmark and 800 Series dishwashers, which eliminates the need for towel drying using a natural mineral that transforms moisture into heat up to 176°F. Alternatively, Bosch 500 Series dishwashers with AutoAir™ will wait until the dishwasher reaches the perfect temperature before automatically opening the door to release moisture and circulate fresh. This saves you the extra step of opening the door at the end of the cycle. The dishwasher does it for you.

Skip All That Time-Consuming Pre-Rinsing

Somehow we all have this preconceived notion of needing to rinse our dishes before loading the dishwasher. After all, that is the way our families told us to do it, but all you really need to do is simply scrape leftover food off of your dishes before loading. With today’s cleaning systems and intelligent sensors that continually scan and check the progress of your dishes throughout the cycle, you don’t need to pre-rinse your dishes. These new dishwashers offer powerful, precision sprayers that target every item you load into your dishwasher. Keep in mind, loading your dishwasher properly is half the battle.

Learn to Load Your Dishwasher Efficiently

Load your dishes and especially your bowls at an angle inwards, facing down, so all the water can run off. Pots should be placed down. Don’t lean dishes on each other; be sure there is space between each item so water sprays fully. Also, Bosch’s has new drying technology and flexible loading features including the adjustable RackMatic™ rack, or the adaptable MyWay™ third rack. With these features, your dishwasher can fit plastics, large platters and pots, and other items you would normally have to hand wash.

Use Rinse Aid and Special Drying Options

These small, important steps help dishes dry faster. Rinse aid lowers the surface tension of water and causes it to easily slide off. In addition, special drying options, like Sanitize or Extra Dry from Bosch, help to deliver even better drying results. The Sanitize option on select Bosch models increases the time and temperature of the final rinse to eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria, while “Extra Dry” adds heat to the final rinse for enhanced drying results. This will all help you during cleanup when dishes are remarkably dry and ready to be put away after every cycle. Gone are the days of grabbing a towel and having to dry each item out of the dishwasher.
