The food guide towel offers a quick “healthy diet” reference that allows you to choose foods rich in vitamins and key minerals at quick glance. The food guide tea towel is 100% cotton printed with a deliciously designed infographic of the vitamins and nutrients found in different foods. A nutritional alphabet runs across the bottom of the towel, with representative fruits, vegetables and more in a vertical line above them. It is quite a tasteful kitchen accent and is made in England and designed by graphic designer, Lahla Smart. She studied Product Design Sustainable Futures at the University for the Creative Arts. It is the only UK based course specializing in sustainable design and has versed her in niche areas such as life cycle analysis (LCA), environmental legislation, sustainable materials and the importance of responsible design practice. Quite clever! Available at Uncommon Goods.
