Elegant Large Kitchen in Oyster Bay, NY
We had the privilege of working with some serious home chefs in historic Oyster Bay, NY who wanted to create a luxuriously elegant, large kitchen that could accommodate multiple chefs cooking simultaneously. They wanted to include the latest in technology while maintaining the warmth and coziness of home. Since the family frequently entertains on a large scale and everyone in the family cooks, we needed to open the design discussions to everyone involved and include each chef’s unique perspective into the final design. Every amenity they desired was included in the redesign.
Pantry Inserts and Adequate Refrigeration is Key for Kitchen Organization
A very organized kitchen is easy to maintain when you get the storage design right. The inside “guts” of the cabinetry should be given the same consideration as the outer design aesthetic of the cabinetry. This kitchen’s center island has an enormous amount of storage space with flawless, well- designed drawer configurations. If there was an inch available, we used it to perfect the design. No space is wasted. In addition, The huge countertop gives the family plenty of room to work together when prepping meals and cooking for parties.
