Ingredients List
½ cup of water
¼ cup of maple syrup or honey
1 bag of fresh cranberries
1 organic orange zested to make 1T
¼ cup of fresh orange juice
1 green apple, quartered
½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
½ cup of walnuts (optional)
Directions
1 Combine the cranberries, maple syrup (or honey), and water in a saucepan on medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook about 5 to 8 minutes on medium-low heat.
2 Place the cranberry mixture and all remaining ingredients into a blender and secure lid. Pulse slowly and increase speed until you reach desired consistency.
I tend to like it a little more chunky.
