Happy Thanksgiving!
This week I was looking for a gift for my aunt’s 86th birthday, and I came across a “gratitude bracelet” in one of our local shops. The bracelet has four pearl beads, and each bead represents a reminder to name four things you are grateful for each day. I love this concept of proactive gratitude as it forces our energy to the present moment filling us with joy based on our own appreciation of life’s blessings. How wonderful to approach each day from this perspective no matter our circumstances.
As our kitchens become filled with the smell of roast turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. We pause to appreciate this moment we experience together as one nation under God with gratitude and thanks.
This Thanksgiving, may we all focus on the amazing gifts that are right in front of us … many in our own kitchens.
